Chalcographic allegorical title page, with 5 folded plates engraved in copper out of text, of which one topographic of Rome and 4 geographic of Italy, woodworm holes, two tables with a small gap in the central part, light uniform browning, some paper with slight reddening, binding coeval in parchment with traces of green silk laces, blue cuts, gap in the back, woodworm holes, defects. Ex libris on the title page. § Together in the lot & nbsp; Buffier, Claude , & nbsp; New geography . & Nbsp; Rome, Venanzio Monaldini and Giovanni Zempel, 1787. In 12 °. Allegorical chalcographic frontispiece, frontispiece in red and black ink with copper engraved vignette, with 22 folded copper engraved plates, woodworm holes, slight homogeneous browning, light blooms, some tears on some plates, e6-7 detached, contemporary binding in parchment, author and title stamped in gold on the spine, marbled cuts, small gap in the cap, slight defects. Signature of belonging to the title page.
