dating: machi Period (1392-1573) provenance: Japan, Wakizashi shinogizukuri-iorimune in koshirae tachi. Nagasa (length. 43 cm, shortened), hada: not visible; hamon: suguha ko nie deki; boshi: ko maru kaeri fukai; copper habaki with remains of gilding. Nakago mumei with three mekugi-ana. Beautiful koshirae with all the mounts en suite, aoi-gata tsuba in shakudo that has like all the other mounts two different gold mon on a dark nanako background. Tsuka made of silk with fabric ground that continues in the upper part of the saya, the ashi without rope-making. The part under the fabric of the saya made of red lacquer, the rest in dark brown matt lacquer with the same gold mon. Short but interesting blade from the middle Muromachi period. length 68.4 cm.
