dating: ho Period (1912-1926) provenance: Japan, Nagasa (length: 74 cm), shinogi zukuri iorimune; hada: very compact ko mokume; hamon: gunome choji midare nie deki ashi nioi tobakaki; boshi: komaru kaerijoru; gilded copper habaki. Nakago ubu-ha agari kurijuri yasuri sujikai with two mekugi-ana. Tokuden school. Beautiful koshirae with polychrome enamels depicting dragons and floral motifs on a black background; gilded copper tsuba decorated en suite. Brass tachi mounts, richly engraved with birds and floral motifs, partially pierced and silver-plated. Grip with gilded metal, leather pendant. Saya clutches made of various metals and painted leather. Very rare. length 106.5 cm.
