dating: hi-Momoyama Period (1573-1603) provenance: Japan, Made of iron. Shaped as mokko-gata, ko-sukashi, sekigane of nakago-ana and copper kozuka-hitsu-ana, decorated with a stylized tool and hat, kozuka hitsu-ana, kaku-mimi-koniku. Late Momoyama period, 1600 circa. Provenance: John Harding, Henry D. Rosin (illustrated in The Henry D. Rosin Collection No. 8).Illustrated and described in Japanese, English and German in 'Tsuba' by Günther Heckmann, H.U.B.
