dating: hi-Momoyama Period (1573-1603) provenance: Japan, Made of iron. Shaped as maru-gata, kage-sukashi, kamakura-bori with plum flowers and other floral decorations, kozuka and kogai hitsu-ana added later, suki-nokoshi-mimi. Late Momoyama period, 1600 circa. Illustrated and described in Japanese, English and German in 'Tsuba' by Günther Heckmann, H.U.B. Verlag Nürtingen, 1995. No. T15. dimensions 8.4 x 8.4 x 0.3 cm.
