dating: hi-Momoyama Period (1573-1603) provenance: Japan, Made of iron. Shaped as maru-gata, ito-sukashi, kamakura-bori with herbs and flowers, kozuka hitsu-ana, suki-nokoshi-mimi. Illegible Tsuba-mei. Late Momoyama period, 1600 circa. Illustrated and described in Japanese, English and German in 'Tsuba' by Günther Heckmann, H.U.B. Verlag Nürtingen, 1995.
