dating: hi-Momoyama Period (1573-1603) provenance: Japan, Made of iron. Shaped as maru-gata, ito-sukashi with a stylized shrimp, kozuka hitsu-ana, maru-mimi. Late Momoyama period, 1600 circa. Illustrated and described in Japanese, English and German in 'Tsuba' by Günther Heckmann, H.U.B. Verlag Nürtingen, 1995. No. T6. dimensions 7.8 x 7.8 x 0.4 cm.
