Two-stage, smoothbore, 17 mm cal barrel with small rings at the girdleand a silver foresight; the powder chamber is marked ‘S. MAZZA’, with a gold mark from the Royal Factory of Naples and three lilies. Forward spring percussion lock, plate marked "S. MAZZA" and a fine engraving and floral motifs at the tang. Half-stock made of selected walnut, butt with a neck carved in the shape of a boar’s head and a checkered grip, cheek piece carved with a rosette in relief. Mounts with high-quality floral engravings. Brass-tipped, horn ramrod with missing parts.
