length 28,5 cm.
6-1/2", round, rifled barrel, featuring company markings and patents up to 1880.Probably 44 Russian cal. Visible rifling, bore needs cleaning. Six-shot cylinder with double set of stops. Working mechanism, in mixed action. Hammer, trigger, and trigger guard with remains of checkering. Serial number coeval on barrel, hook, and cylinder “22xxx,” not present on the grip. Probably refreshed nickel finishing. Some signs of use and age. Condition: fair to good. Mother-of-pearl grips. Ring for the strap.

Although marketed from 1881 until 1913, all frames were manufactured by 1899. See Flayderman's Guide, 9th Edition, p. 238.
