Flyer produced to promote the release of the lithograph "Surprise Party at Memory Pond," autographed by Carl Barks, one of the great Disney Masters. "Surprise Party at Memory Pond" is a famous limited-edition serigraph created by legendary cartoonist and painter Carl Barks (1901–2000), universally known as "The Good Duck Artist" and creator of Scrooge McDuck. This work is not only a piece of Disney history, but a true masterpiece of his pictorial output. The serigraph was released in 1994 and is the third and final work in the exclusive Disney Art Edition Serigraphs series. Barks painted the original oil painting (from which the serigraph is based) on the occasion of Donald Duck's 60th birthday. The scene is a loving tribute to the character's long career. The flyer, when fully opened, measures approximately 51 x 21 cm.
