The 1761 "Secret Letters of Christina, Queen of Sweden" are a collection of anonymous, forged love letters addressed to the King of Prussia and mistakenly attributed to Christina of Sweden, intended to discredit the queen's intellectual and political legacy by portraying her as a lesbian. Although the book was published in 1761, the writings themselves are 18th-century inventions and not actual letters from the queen, who lived in the 17th century.
