dating: 1836 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Straight, double-edged blade of lozenge section, the first part engraved with trophies and floral motifs, at the forte signed and dated '1836 Napoli Labruna' and with motto 'Ne me tire pas sans raison, et ne me remettez pas sans honneur'; brass hilt engraved with floral motifs, the shell-guard with a three-lily coat-of-arms under crown. Complete with leather scabbard (broken part) with brass mounts decorated en suite. length 97.5 cm.
