dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Straight, single-and-false-edged blade, with double groove, the first part engraved with trophies and floral motifs, at the base still barely visible the inscription 'GENDARMERIA REALE'; beautiful brass hilt richly decorated with floral motifs and trophies, five loop-guards, horn grip (small missing parts) covered with metal wire binding. Without scabbard. Rare. length 96 cm.
