dating: Second half of the 17th Century provenance: Brescia, Straight, double-edged blade with riser toward the back, short tang. English 'pillow sword' type, iron hilt, with wide and short quillons and remains of carved decoration, vase-shaped pommel worked en suite. Wooden grip with coiled copper wire binding, missing Moor's heads. length 105 cm.
