Information
dating: 17th Century provenance: Tuscany, Blade of hexagonal section, with deep groove featuring remains of inscriptions at the first part. Iron hilt with two rings carved on the front side (one with oblique-grooved edge, the other with waves), between them the butt-plate, provided with grooves shaped as rays. Typical double quillons curved toward the blade and engraved with geometric motifs. Well-proportioned smooth pommel of oval shape. Wooden grip with iron wire binding and Moor's heads. length 98.5 cm.
