Naples, ex typographia Mutiana, 1750. In 4°. Intaglio vignette on the title page engraved by Baldi, intaglio initials, folded plate also engraved by Baldi, with slight tears, foxing and browning usual for this paper, contemporary full parchment binding with title on a tag on the spine, sprayed cuts.

A historical work in Latin from 1750, written by Tommaso Pio Milante, Bishop of Castellammare di Stabia. The book deals with the history of the city of Stabia and its church, with particular attention to its bishops. It is considered fundamental to the history of the Stabian Church; although the text has been a source of controversy and controversy, it remains an important resource for the historical documentation of Castellammare di Stabia.
