Information
Naples, at the Raimondiana Printing House, 1776. In 4°. Two folded copperplate plates, marginal tears, the plates, engraved by Giuseppe Aloja, depict a beautiful panoramic view, in a very fresh engraving, to the west of the city of Naples (50.6 x 28.6 cm at the edge), and a large and detailed topographical map of the city (approx. 64.5 x 43 at the edge), marginal foxing, otherwise an excellent copy, contemporary hard parchment binding with title on a leather tag on the spine, red spray edges.
Specialist Notes
First edition of this work written by the architect Nicolò Carletti (1723-1796) which contains two folded plates engraved by Giuseppe Aloja: a beautiful scenic view to the west of the city of Naples and a large topographical map of the city.
