Forward spring lock marked "US SPRINGFIELD 1873" and with American eagle (inscription and eagle partially visible). Unmarked bolt, butt plate with serial number "369xxx". Wooden full stock (signs of use and time, small defects); military inspection stamp still visible on the grip of the butt. Iron mounts. Missing ramrod.
