A very interesting letter discussing an addition to the text of Il Bel Paese , Stoppani's masterpiece. On July 23, 1876, Stoppani published Il Bel Paese. The volume became enormously popular for several decades, likely thanks to the overlap between the scholastic and naturalistic and hiking fields. Worth studying.
