"Ghibli" First humorous and puppet newspaper of the Roman Empire of Ethiopia. Magazine edited and directed by Pier Marino Frasconi and founded by Quasimodo Santi.
Consistency: n. 1 (15 May 1936-XIV), n. 2 (30 May 1936-XIV), n. 3 (7 June 1936-XIV), n. 4 (20 June 1936-XIV), n. 5 (5 July 1936-XIV), n. 6 (20 July 1936-XIV), n. 7 (8 August 1936), year II, n. 1 (23 January 1937-XV), year II, n. 3 (19 March 1937 - XV).
The format varies from 49 x 32 cm to approximately 42 x 31 cm, each issue is composed of 2 or 3 sheets; many drawings including portraits. Drawings and linocuts by De Caro, Lenzi, Fava and Sgobero. Printed in Benghazi and then in Dire Daua (Ethiopia). Overall good state of preservation, marginal tears and light browning are noted.
An important magazine from a historical point of view, worth studying. Not present in SBN and in Dora Gulli Pecenko – Laura Nasi Zitelli, Bibliography of periodicals of the fascist period , Rome 1983.
