Geneva, Barrillot et sons, 1742. Volume three only, divided into two volumes (parts one and two). In 4vo. Title page printed in red and black, engraved vignette, illustrations, diagrams, and tables in the text, browning and damp stains, contemporary sponged calf binding, gilt title within a red label, gilt embellishments.

Specialist Notes

The first of the so-called Jesuit editions, edited by Thomas le Seur and Francois Jacquier, highly regarded for its extensive commentary. Only the third volume in two volumes (parts one and two) is available for sale.
