An undated 19th-century manuscript, in a modern, plain gray hardback binding. The text is preceded by a hand-drawn, watercolored bust of Ptolemy in an oval frame, with an illegible signature. A card with a poem ("Le Mademoiselle Grouax"?) is inserted between pages 8 and 9. A small plate from an 18th-century geographical work depicting ancient Spain (Typus Hispaniae veteris) is inserted between pages 12 and 13. Finally, another small 18th-century geographical plate depicting ancient France (Galliae veteris descriptio) is inserted between pages 18 and 19. A very good copy.
