Frame with a brass elevator marked “44 CAL.” One-piece dust cover guide integrated with the frame. Working mechanism. Back tang stamped with the model name; underside bears serial number “701xxxB.” Smooth walnut stock and fore-end. Buttplate with brass pan. Fine old-style re-browning, approximately 95% preserved.
