dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Papal States, Wide two-edged blade with central fuller, mark at the base. One-piece bronze hilt with straight-quillon guard featuring oak leaves and acorns in bas-relief, twisted grip and pommel decorated with leaves, the center of crossguard marked 'A 2532' and on the other side '4915.' Complete with leather scabbard (the slightly narrowed leather easily prevents the insertion of the blade) with bronze mounts, cap with loop. length 59 cm.
