dating: 1830-40 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Blade of triangular section with hollowed sides, the first part engraved and gilded on a blue background with trophies and floral motifs, the base marked 'V.e A.K & I'; gilded brass hilt, the shell-guard with coat of arms with three fleurs-de-lis under crown between helmet and arms, quillon shaped as a lion's head, loop-guard with floral motifs and pommel with feathered helmet. Mother-of-pearl grips. Without scabbard. length 96 cm.
