dating: Early 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Slightly curved blade with marks, held at the base by a silver ring-nut (small damages and restorations). Silver-colored metal handle with damages and small missing parts, decorated with engravings and in relief with effigies of mosques and vases. Pommel with small ears. Antique wooden scabbard covered with leather featuring fluted decorations (small tears and cracks). Silver-colored metal mounts. The cap featuring trophies of arms, mosques, flowers and a sailing ship. The chape decorated en suite and ending in a fish head. Back loop. length 66,5 cm.
