dating: 19th Century provenance: Persia, Interesting curved, single-and-false-edged blade in fine damask, T-shaped back, the tip ribbed in the middle, the base and the back engraved with arabesque. Bone grip richly carved with royal and court figures in bas-relief among floral motifs, garlands and pearlised edges. Scabbard from a later period in wood covered with polychrome fabric (damage). length 42 cm.
