dating: circa 1800 provenance: Southern Italy, Straight, double-edged blade with slightly enlarged tip, with double fuller, featuring grotesque engravings at the base. Turn-off blade, it can be mounted on a knife handle. Brass socket and base. The former faceted, engraved and partially pierced, the latter worked with protome with an anthropomorphic face. Antique (pertinent?) leather scabbard with iron mounts with pitting, belt hook. length 37,5 cm.
