Round, rifled, 18 mm cal barrel, the breech with short rib and marked with numerous proof marks, among them “V” and “P” beneath crown and with the number “144”; adjustable folding rear sight, clutch for the bayonet and front sight. Forward spring percussion lock, internally signed “BARRET” and with another inscription (scarcely legible). Full wooden stock, the left side of the butt stamped with well-marked “GN”. Iron mounts and ramrod.
