length 139,5 cm.
Smoothbore, round barrel, provided with foresight, marked "GR" with crown and Broad Arrow, and with another mark (Birmingham?)19.1 mm cal. at the nozzle. Pitting. Tang stamped "39" under crown. Forward spring percussion lock (pre-Lovell?) marked "TOWER" with crown surmounting the initials “GR” (William IV?) and with marks. Working mechanism. Wooden full stock stamped on the butt stock "1805" under crowned Broad Arrow. Other marks in various places: 53 crowned, eight-pointed star within a circle. Brass mounts. Possibly a Brown Bess converted to percussion. Missing ramrod. With heavily engraved socket bayonet (length: 55.3 cm). Interesting.
