Two twisted smoothbore upper barrels and one rifled lower barrel, with rib (raised in the rear sight area and featuring two holes for an additional rear sight?) marked ‘LONDON FINE...WIS / W.H. BAKER’, fitted with rear sight and foresight, 15 mm and 9 mm cal (the lower barrel). Some defects and a very small crack at the nozzle of the right barrel. Long engraved tang. Backward spring lock decorated en suite, both signed ‘WARD’. Wooden butt with knurled base. Iron mounts engraved en suite. Single trigger for the upper barrels and a second trigger for the lower barrel with an ‘underhammer’ type hammer. Double wooden ramrod, the larger one with a wooden tip and an iron cartridge extractor, the other with a brass tip and an iron cartridge extractor. Some general defects.

Specialist Notes
Extremely rare percussion drilling, very few muzzle-loading examples appear on the market; this particular piece also features a lower barrel of smaller calibre and rifled. It is likely that the two holes present on the rib originally housed the rear sigh
