The sword features an engraved blade featuring Savoy coat of arms and air force insignia, with the tang marked “CHERUBINI TORINO” and “CLEMENT & JUNG SOLINGEN.” Gilded brass hilt with a winged guard and folding valve, a long cap ending in an eagle's head, lacquered wooden handle, and a gilded-thread swork knot. Leather scabbard with gilded brass mounts and geometric designs, complete with attachments and belt, the latter in leather covered with gilded thread (some general defects) and equipped with a gilded bronze buckle with an eagle surmounted by a crown. The original case lined with leather, featuring a brass plaque depicting an eagle. Inside, the effects include shoulder straps with rope, a blue sash with tassel, and a blue aviation handkerchief with a depiction of airplanes.
