Marked “E&A HORSIER SOLINGEN” on the tang. Well-gilded brass mounts with winged design. Long eagle-head cap with crown buttons and red glass eyes; spring-loaded closure with propeller design on the counterplate. Black handle with gilded-brass wire binding . Leather scabbard, gilt brass mounts decorated in relief with shells and oak leaves; the chape featuring a crowned eagle. Two lugs. Complete with gilded-thread sword-knot.
