Straight, single-and-false-edged blade, at the first part with fuller then double-edged of lenticular section; the base gilt and engraved with a crowned coat of arms between a trophy and two clasped hands emerging from clouds, on the reverse the gilt inscription “Fidelidad y Constancia”; tang signed “P. Knecht Solingen”. Brass hilt with shell-guard featuring a silver frieze depicting the crowned Savoy coat of arms between laurel branches. With sword knot. Iron scabbard with two brass suspension rings mounted on rounded bands.
