Beautiful 18 mm. cal. barrel from a matchlock gun of the first half of the XVI century, round and smoothbore, completely engraved with quillons interlacing leaves on a weavy background, mouth shaped as a dragon's head; rectangular tang engraved with waves; beautiful XVII Century Neapolitan lock richly carved, fretworked and engraved with monsters, animal figures and floral motifs; wooden, full stock from the third fourth of the XVI Century, still showing remains of deep engravings that are now very worn and flattened; iron mounts richly fretworked and engraved with dragons and floral motifs, of the same period as the lock, only the trigger guard and the backplate are from a following period. Spare ramrod.
