Simple, curved, single-edged blade with wide central fuller. Brass hilt with octagonal langets, three loop-guards, long smooth cap with large button. Wooden handle covered with leather and metal wire binding. Nickel-plated iron scabbard with two suspension rings, the lower part with rust damage. Probably made in the last years of the war.
