Brass mounts with a guard featuring two quillons with Cyrillic inscriptions, long smooth cap. Handle covered with fish skin, featuring a shield on each side, the one on the back featuring the monogram “CK,” the other featuring the coat of arms of St. George. Beautiful brass scabbard with two lugs, decorated in bas-relief with the crowned monogram of Alexander I, a crowned double-headed eagle, an inscription on a scroll with the date “1812,” an effigy of St. George, and another scroll; iron knuckle-guard.
