Round, rifled barrel (visible rifling, the bore needs cleaning, especially at the nozzle) with octagonal breech, equipped with a folding and adjustable rear sight and a clutch for the bayonet; on the powder chamber remains of markings (not completely legible), including the date “1859” and the “PR” mark.18.5 mm cal at the nozzle. The tang is slightly narrower and raised compared to its compartment in the frame. Backward spring lock with working mechanism. Plate marked “M.ra R.le di Napoli.” Wooden full stock with signs of use and age, some restored woodworm holes. Iron and brass mounts. Some pitting. Butt plate with unit numbers: “7.B.C. / 4. C. 2” and with remains of marks. Together with a bayonet of the correct model (length 69.5 cm) with a “yatagan” blade dated '1855' and featuring the unit code on the crossguard: "1BC. 7C. 119.“ Complete with leather scabbard (damaged, forte signs of wear and age) with unit marking on the cap ”11.B.C. 7.C. 136."
