Round, rifled, 13 mm cal barrel with octagonal base, marked with crossed keys under a tiara, serial number “645,” various marks, and the mark of the Liège test bench, adjustable rear sight from 0 to 400 meters, foresight; frame marked “BREVET REMINGTON 721,” with the same serial number and marks; two-piece wooden stock with iron mounts and ramrod. The base has rare 'T'-shaped reinforcement on both sides, and the stamp “CATHOLIQUES BELGES” with the date “1868” still visible on the right side of the butt-plate.
