Octagonal rifled 19 mm cal barrel (bore needs cleaning, clearly visible rifling ), the breech stamped with both marks of J. G. Ettel (Stöckel 285, 286); fixed iron rear sight and brass front sight. Tang with double lines at the border. Flintlock (cock with two repairs) signed around the pan “I.G. ETTEL A DRESDEN”, finely engraved with a hunter observing two hounds attacking a wild boar. Full stock (with small defects and missing parts), lightly carved and fitted with a patchbox. Brass mounts: trigger guard engraved with a stag, pierced side plate and buttplate with hound motif. Missing ramrod.
