Iron, openwork crest with twisted design featuring rosettes at the base (one missing) and an olive bearing the royal monogram “VE” (Vittorio Emanuele II), original red chenille with iron mount and matching red horsehair tail. Sunburst-style frontplate with silver-spread eagle. Few scales of the iron neck guard remaining, also decorated with rosettes; cheek guards in iron with knurled rings and segmented centers.
