Long, smoothbore, two-stage, square and round, 16.5 mm cal barrel with small frames at the girdle, equipped with rear sight and saddle foresight; marked on the powder chamber ‘LAZARI COMINAZ’ (for Lazarino Cominazzo). Beautiful archaic Florentine lock, flat plate engraved with scrolls and racemes, as well as the hammer and hammer handle; sliding pan. Full walnut stock with fluted ham-shaped butt, iron butt plate engraved with a noble coat of arms and the date ‘1656’. Iron mounts, with fluted trigger guard and ramrod rings. Original iron-tippedwooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor.
