Smoothbore, 15 mm cal barrel, square in shape along its entire length, the powder chamber decorated with rings and a bas-relief carving depicting an anthropomorphic figure smoking a pipe; a little further on, the signature ‘DOMENICO BONOMINO’ in capital letters, among simple floral motifs. The barrel is decorated with two beautiful embossed silver mounts, carved and finely chiselled with floral scrolls, the first with a rear sight and the second with a high-relief mask in relief; the top with a moulded muzzle, the rear part of which is shaped like lilies. Tang engraved with flowers. Beautiful snaphaunce flintlock, plate engraved in the centre and on the neck of the hammer with floral scrolls, the tang and the cover of the hammer screw with a mask carved in bas-relief, elegant hammer handle decorated with curls; sliding pan cover. Full walnut stock (small antique restoration to the frame) beautifully carved with sphinxes, snakes and scrolls in bas-relief, carved and openwork iron mounts. Original, iron-tipped wooden ramrod.
