Shinogi zukuri blade (nagasa 58.3 cm). Hamon: suguha nioi deki ko-nie. Boshi midare komi. Hada: itame. Nakago with two mekugi-ana. Mei: Echizen kuni ju Shimosaka. End of Momoyama - beginning of Shinto era. Koshirae kyu for parade, from the beginning of the 20th century. Gilded, brass hilt, sabre-type, with partially pierced guard, cherry blossom drawings, partially relieved. Cap with kiri-mon applied in silver (used by various important families). Tsuka covered with fish skin and metallic, European style wire binding. Iron scabbard with remains of nickel-plating.
