in the style of ancient blades, with clearly visible Hamon and Hada. Nakago with a Mekugi-ana. Featuring inscription: Shimizu Tadasugu Saku (made by . Composite Koshirae with some elements possibly from the Edo period and others from much later production. The tsuba is made of iron, Maru-gata pierced with Katabami-mon. Fuchi and Kashira of recent production, possibly in varnished wood. Tsuka with stingray leather and mustard-coloured Tsuka-ito, probably of recent production. The Menuki are well made (old production?) in browned Irogane, with golden details, depicting dragons. The scabbard is in glossy black lacquer with gold flecks, probably of late production, with Maru-ni-katabami-mon decorations. Period: probably late Showa period. Accompanied by a stamped replica of a certificate in Japanese.
