Smoothbore, browned, two-stage, square and round, 15 mm cal. barrels with grooved frames at the girdle, firing chamber engraved with a silver floral motif; dorsal nozzle with silver swallow-tailed foresight. Long tang with outlines and small racemes. Modern locks with rounded lock plates featuring carvings on the pans and related springs; signed in block letters under the pan "MARCO ANTONIO / GIURATI". Short stock of selected walnut, worked in two pieces; decorated with fine floral motifs and silver-inlaid filigree decorations. Engraved and crowned shield on the grip; silver butt plate, chiselled in bas-relief with floral motifs and a gadrooned vase. Silver trigger guard worked in bas-relief. Barrel bracket band provided with lugs and muzzle ring, of silver engraved with floral motifs. Original horn-tipped wooden ramrod.
