Literature

Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli, nicknamed "Fonzie" (or also "The Fonz" in the original, derived from the contraction of his surname), is one of the fictional characters, co-star of the famous American sitcom "Happy Days" (1974-1984), played by Henry Winkler. During Henry Winkler's interview on “Che tempo che fa” a few years ago, the actor revealed that Fonzie wore six leather jackets. The first jacket, which is seen in the first and second seasons of the series, was stolen. One was sold, one is in a museum, one is owned by Henry Winkler himself, and two are still in circulation (one is in the Smithsonian Institution). The collector's importance of this jacket is world-renowned, and is sought after by thousands of people, as Fonzie never parted with it throughout almost the entire series. In the first season, Fonzie did not wear the famous leather jacket (except in very few scenes) but almost always cloth jackets, of different shades but still light in color.
