Information
Autographed card of Zbigniew Boniek wearing a Juventus jersey, published by Topps for the Juventus Team set 25/26 series. Limited to 50 copies. Zbigniew Boniek arrived at Juventus in the summer of 1982 from Widzew Łódź, immediately after emerging as one of the best players in the World Cup in Spain. The nickname "Bello di Notte" (Night Handsome) was given to him by Gianni Agnelli for his ability to excel in evening cup matches, where his speed and determination made the difference. In just three seasons (from 1982 to 1985), Boniek made a fundamental contribution to writing one of the most successful pages in Juventus' history, winning an impressive sweep of international trophies: 1 European Cup (1985); 1 Cup Winners' Cup (1984); 1 UEFA Super Cup (1984, where he scored two decisive goals); 1 Scudetto (1984); 1 Coppa Italia (1983). He left Turin in 1985 with a total of 31 goals in 133 appearances, to continue his career in Italy with Roma.
