Copper-engraved author's portrait on the verso of the title page, woodcut coat of arms on the title page and at the end, some pagination errors, slight foxing, light browning, rare halos, some woodworm damage, reinforcement on the inside margin of p. 226, contemporary full parchment binding, handwritten title on the spine, stains. Ownership signature on the title page.

First edition of the only work written by the Neapolitan Marco Antonio Sorgente (16th century) and edited by Felice Stigliola under the direction of his older brother Muzio.
