Title within a double-lined editorial frame, with 19 folded copperplate plates at the end of the volume, slight foxing, slightly later half-leather and marbled paper binding, gilt author and title on the spine, minor defects. Bookplate by Carmelo Sciuto Patti, famous engineer, architect, and geologist (Catania 1829-1898), at the end of the book.
